After visiting the museum or skating on the ice, a trip to the museum shop is the final essential step in your polar explorations!

It offers a wide selection of products for all ages: books for children and adults (educational sciences, novels, adventure stories, etc.), cuddly toys, wooden games and toys (made by local craftspeople), jewellery (necklaces, rings), and polar animal keychains and figurines will appeal to parents and children alike.

Secure lockers and a buggy area are also offered to make your visit more enjoyable.

For meals and snacks, two options are available.

– The picnic room: accessible on days the museum is open for family picnics in winter or summer. Toilets with a baby changing table, a hot drinks machine and microwave are also provided.

– The Bistrot Polaire: the restaurant and chef Sorin Bocaneala offer traditional dishes (fish and meat) and a menu for children.
